The Pitch

I am an Experience Designer with a specialization in SaaS Application Design. I've been around the world helping Fortune 500 companies develop web applications that focus on equal parts form and function to provide the best experience possible. 

With over 15+ years working with Interaction Design under my belt, I have learned to understand the needs of a business and its customers. I use this understanding to define an experience that strives to address both.

Experiences

Pearson: Director of Product Design

Denver CO | July 2021 - Present

Leader of the UX Team that supports Pearson’s higher ed products. My role requires me to work closely with product and engineering teams while leading a tightly knit team to define and execute on the company’s vision. My team is responsible for conceptualizing and developing the user experience for all our products on multiple mediums while maintaining clear team alignment around goals and priorities. I act as an advocate for our users, thinking holistically about how our user journey transpires across our product ecosystem.

A few fun Facts

I served active military and was stationed in South Korea for a year. Hiking the trails at Bukhansan National Park is one of my fondest memories of this time.

For our wedding anniversary my wife and I traveled through France and Spain for 17 days. We spent the last 4 days of our trip “off the grid” in a home on the Strait of Gibraltar waking up to views of the Moroccan mountains off in the distance.

According to my Strava account, I’ve logged over 18K miles on my bicycle – the equivalent of pedaling from Orlando, Florida to Los Angeles, California and back 7.5 times.
